The Mama Natural Week-by-Week Guide to Pregnancy and Childbirth

This book is informative and does not overwhelm you. It also introduces concepts like “should I encapsulate and eat my placenta???” without making it feel weird to do so or weird to not do it. It also gave me affirmations at the end of each week which made me feel empowered about my pregnancy.

What to Expect When You’re Expecting

This book is classic and thoroughly informative, but you might find yourself skipping through some pages really quickly. It’ll answer questions like “what is an epidural and what are my options”. The book lacks pictures and color for taste but it is informative and a good read if you’re a first-time mama! ESPECIALLY recommended if you’re a first-time mama out of your friends too!

The Womanly Art of Breastfeeding: Completely Revised and Updated 8th Edition

I wish I would’ve read this while I was pregnant. I had a belief that breastfeeding was easy and an instinct and I quickly realized it takes two and I had no idea how and neither did my daughter. I used audible and listened to this book when Harper was first born. It truly helped me understand more thoroughly what we were both going through.

The Whole 9 Months

This book focuses mostly on eating suggestions and how different foods/meals will be beneficial at different stages in your pregnancy. It was VERY helpful for me who didn’t know what would be best to support my growing baby. It breaks it down easily per week and you have a ton of tasty recipes at the end.
